Clock setting

In this option you can set the time and date. Press the button “ENTER” on your remote control to enter this setup page. First, select the current date in the format “dd / mm / yyyy” by pressing the direction buttons “C” and “D” or the number buttons “0-9”on your remote control. Navigate to the time input field with the button “A” to set the time in the format “hh : mm : ss” by using the direction buttons “C” and “D” or the num- ber buttons “0-9”on your remote control.

Daylight-saving

Here you can set the automatic daylight-saving to “On” or “Off”. Set this feature to “On”, if you want that the DVD recorder changes the time auto- matically according to summertime and wintertime. Select “Off”, if no auto- matic daylight-saving is required.

Time format

Set the time format to “12 hours”, if you want the time to be displayed in twelve-hour format (e.g. used in UK). Select “24 hours”, if the time shall be displayed in day-long format.

Screen saver

In this menu you can enable or disable the screen saver. The screen saver protects your TV’s cathode-ray tube from “screen burn” that could result from a static image being displayed for a prolonged period. The screen saver will automatically start within a few minutes of video inactivity, if you select the “On” setting.

Version

Highlight the menu point “Version”. On the screen will now be displayed the current firmware information of your DVD recorder. This may be need- ed for technical support.
