Renaming a title name

Some TV stations transmit the title (name) of a programme. In this case, the name will be included automatically (e.g. “ROCKY”). Otherwise, the selected input source is stored as the name. The name of the recording can only be changed after the recording has been completed.

1 Select the title whose name you want to edit by pressing the button Cor D”.

2 Press the button “EDIT” on your remote control and select “Rename” with the direction buttons. Confirm your selection with the button “ENTER” on your remote control. The virtual keyboard appears on the TV screen.

3 First, please press the button “C” on your remote control to clear the wrong title name. Then use the direction buttons B”, “A”, “Cand Dto select the letter you require and press the button “ENTER” on your remote control to confirm your selection.

4 If you want to insert small letters, please navigate to the field “a” and press “ENTER” to confirm. The virtual keyboard will now display only small letters. If you want to insert again capital letters, select “A”. You can also insert icons e. g. a colon. For this, please navigate to the field “$” and press the button “ENTER” on your remote control to confirm your selection. The virtual keyboard will now display icons. For adding an empty space, please navigate to “Space” and press “ENTER”.

5 To confirm the new title name, please highlight the field “Enter” and press the button “ENTER” on your remote control. A status bar will appear on the screen and the new title name is stored.

6 If you do not want to save the new title name, please highlight the field “Cancel” and press the button “ENTER” on your remote control. The virtual keyboard will disappear and the previous title name retains on the screen.

Deleting A-B

With this function you can erase a part of a title. This means that scenes you do not want to see during playback, such as commercials, can be deleted. Proceed as follows:

1 Select the title where you want to erase a part by pressing the button Cor D.

2 Press the button “EDIT” on your remote control, select “Delete A-B”with the direction buttons and confirm your selection with the button “ENTER” on your remote control. A further display appears on the screen and the selected title is played back in top of the screen.
