Sorting, adding, deleting and renaming TV channels

After you have performed the automatic channel search, you may not agree with the sequence in which the individual TV channels have been assigned to the programme positions. You can use this function to rearrange the TV channels already stored or to delete TV channels you don’t want or those with poor reception. You may also change the name of a TV station.

1Turn on the TV and select the programme number for the DVD recorder, if required.

2Turn the DVD recorder on with the “POWER” button on your remote

control or the “STANDBY/ON” button on the front panel of the DVD recorder. “HELLO” appears in the display.

3 Press the “SETUP” button on the remote control. The setup menu appears.

4Select the “General” setup page by pressing the direction buttons and press “ENTER” to enter this page.

5Select the “Edit channel list” option and confirm your selection with the button “ENTER”.

6A scrollable channel list is displayed (see illustration on the left side). Using the direction button Cor Dyou can select the TV channel that you want to delete, rename or whose order you want to change. To leave the “Edit channel list” option, please navigate to the field “Exit” and press the button “ENTER” on your remote control.

Sorting TV channels:

1If you want to change the position of a current TV channel, please high- light the required TV channel by pressing the direction buttons on your remote control.

2Please navigate to the field Ï for moving the current TV channel upwards and press “ENTER” to confirm. This will exchange the select- ed TV channel with the previous TV channel in the list. Ignore this func- tion, if the selected TV channel is the first one.

3Navigate to the field Ð for moving the current TV channel down- wards and press “ENTER” to confirm. This will exchange the selected TV channel with the next TV channel in the list. Ignore this function, if the selected TV channel is the last one.

Tip:

Press the “ENTER” button several times, if you want to exchange for example channel 2 with channel 7.
