Setting the language

You can select for DVD playback the language for the subtitles as well as the audio language. Please note that with some DVDs you can change the audio language and/or subtitle language only via the DVD disc menu.

Moreover, you can set the language for the on-screen menu (OSD). How- ever, the DVD recorder display will only display English text regardless of this setting.

1Turn on the TV and select the programme number for the DVD recorder, if required.

2Turn on the DVD recorder. Press the “SETUP” button on the remote control. The setup menu appears.

3Select the “General” setup page by pressing the direction button Dand press “ENTER” to enter this page.

4Navigate down to the “OSD language” option. You may also set the “Menu language”, “Audio language” (language of playback) and “Subtitle language”, if a DVD is inserted.

5Press “ENTER” to enter the appropriate menu point.

6Select the required language by pressing the direction button Cor Dand confirm with the button “ENTER”.

7To end, press the “SETUP” button.

Setting the date and time

If the display shows an incorrect time, the time and date have to be set manually.

1 Press the “SETUP” button on the remote control. The setup menu appears.

2 Select the “General” setup page and press “ENTER” to enter this page.

3Use the button Dto navigate down to the “Clock setting” option and confirm your selection with the button “ENTER”.

4Check if the time and date is correct. If required, change the displayed

settings for day, month, year, hour, minute and second by pressing the direction button Cor Dor by using the number buttons “0-9”. Select the next input field by pressing the button Bor Aon the remote control.

5When now all information are correct, press the button “ENTER” on your remote control.

6To end, press the “SETUP” button.
