Angle mark

Here, you can enable or disable the multi-angle display. When used with discs supporting multi-angle features, the current selected angle will be displayed continuously on screen, if you select the “On” setting. Setting the angle mark option to “Off” will cancel continuous display, and the cur- rent angle will be displayed on-screen for just a few seconds after an angle change. The number of angles depends on the disc.

Memory

This feature allows you to restart a disc from the last position played at a future time provided the DVD recorder remains in standby mode. If you desire this feature to be enabled, set this option to “On”. When set to “Off”, discs will always begin playback at the beginning.

Closed captions

In this menu you can enable or disable the closed captions feature. These are especially for hearing impaired people. Please note that the DVD- Video disc has to support this feature. Furthermore, you need a video sub- title decoder.

General settings

Highlight the menu point you would like to set in the “General” setup page. Please press “ENTER” to enter a menu. Use the button “C” or “D” to select the required setting and press “ENTER” or “A” to confirm your selection. To leave a submenu, press the button “RETURN” or “B” on your remote control.

Edit channel list

In this option you can edit the TV channel list. Select this option with the button “ENTER” on your remote control and on the screen appears the TV channel list. Here you can sort, add/delete and rename TV channels. For more information, please refer to page 30 “Sorting, adding, deleting and renaming TV channels” in chapter “Installing your DVD recorder”.

Automatic search

Select this option to search automatically for TV channels. Navigate with the button “D” to this feature and press “ENTER”. The automatic TV channel search starts. This takes some minutes, please wait. For more information, please refer to page 29 “Automatic TV channel search” in chapter “Installing your DVD recorder”.
