Brightness

To adjust the intensity of light emitted. The setting range for the picture brightness is from -16 to 16. Set the brightness with help of the buttons Band Aand press then “ENTER” to continue.

Contrast

Adjustment of the picture contrast. The contrast is decisive for the overall display. Light spots should stand out clearly from dark spots without loos- ing the strength of the picture. The setting range is from -16 to 16. Set the contrast with help of the buttons Band Aand press then “ENTER” to continue.

To adjust the intensity of the colour in a video picture. The setting range for the colour saturation is from -16 to 16. Set thesaturationwith helpof the but- tons Band Aand press then “ENTER” to continue. The colours should be naturally and should not glow exaggeratedly.

Disc related settings

Highlight the menu point you would like to set in the “Disc” setup page. Please press “ENTER” to enter a menu. Use the button Dor Cto select the required disc setting and press “ENTER” or Ato confirm your selection. To leave a submenu, press the button “RETURN” or Bon your remote control.

Password

In the “Password” menu you can activate or deactivate the password to control the parental lock. Select “On” to activate the password or “Off” to deactivate it.

You are prompted for a password. This of course makes sense, as this option would be useless if your kids could enter the setup menu and dis- able it! You will be prompted to enter the current existing password. Key in the password and press “ENTER” to leave this page. If set to “Off” you will not need to enter a password to make changes to password required settings such as parental control.

Note:

If you have not yet set an user password, leave the menu by pressing the direction key B”. In this case please refer to the next menu “Change password” to set up a new password.
