3 The lower left box is highlighted and is showing the message “Set A”. Please press the button “ENTER” on your remote control at the posi- tion where you want to start the erasing procedure.

4 The lower right box will be highlighted after you marked the start point of the erasing section. “Set B” is now shown on the screen.

5 Then, press the button “ENTER” on your remote control to mark the point where you want to stop the erasing procedure. If you want to delete the part which you have marked, then navigate to the field “OK” with the direction buttons and press the buttton “ENTER” on your remote control to confirm.

6 The “Delete A-B”progress bar appears on the screen and the select- ed section is deleted.

Note:

If you want to change the selected section for deleting, please navigate to the left or right box and press the button “ENTER” on your remote control at the time when you want to start or stop the erasing procedure.

Formatting a disc

1 You can format the required disc by pressing the button “EDIT” on your remote control and selecting “Format disc” with the direction buttons. Confirm your selection by pressing the “ENTER” button on your remote control. A further display appears on the TV screen. See illustration on the left.

2 To format the disc, navigate to the field “OK” with the direction buttons and press then “ENTER” to confirm. The format disc progress bar appears. Please wait some seconds. First, “PROCESS” appears on the VFD display, then “ROOT”. If the formatting is finished successful- ly, the title menu of the formatted disc with the free space appears on the TV screen.

3 If you do not want to format the disc, please select “Cancel” and press “ENTER” on your remote control to cancel this operation.
