OPERATION – BASIC

PUNCH

The Punch button enables the bass and treble response of the audio output to be boosted for all listening levels.

1.Press the PUNCH (0) button to enable the Punch feature.

2.Press the PUNCH (0) button again to disable the Punch feature.

NOTE: The panel will display "Punch" when the Punch feature is on.

PANEL DISPLAY

Tuner Mode:

The panel will display the band, FM1, FM2 or AM1, and the station frequency.

CD Modes

While playing a disc the panel will display the track number and the time played.

OPERATION – TUNER

SELECTING A BAND

Press the BAND button repeatedly to cycle through FM1, FM2, and AM. The act of selecting the band automatically enables that band.

The bracketed options are alternate options.

Local / DX Selection

Select between LOCAL and DX tuner sensitivity by pressing the LO/DX (8) button. LOCAL sets the sensitivity for city conditions where there are several strong radio stations. DX sets the sensitivity of the tuner for rural conditions where there are weak radio stations.

SELECTING A STATION

Press the DIR / Button once and the Tuner will rapidly proceed to the

next DIR (UP) or pervious DIR (DOWN) station.

Press and holding either the DIR / button for 1 second will put you into TUNER MANUAL mode.You can now manually search up or down at a rate of

one digit per click (pressing and holding the DIR / button will allow rapid searching).
