Configure IntelliFlo (Step 4 of 5)

IntelliTouch can support up to eight IntelliFlo and four IntelliFlo 4 pumps in any combination with up to eight pumps. For more information refer to the IntelliFlo Installation and User’s Guide (P/N 350075). IntelliFlo pumps can be connected to IntelliTouch as follows:

8 IntelliFlo

7 IntelliFlo + 1 IntelliFlo 4

5 IntelliFlo + 3 IntelliFlo 4

4 IntelliFlo + 4 IntelliFlo 4

IntelliFlo Pump 1

IntelliFlo 4x160 pump 2

Name

Description

Pump 1 (Pump 2-8 Tabs)

The address set at the pump must match the IntelliFlo pump

number (tabs 1-8) selected on this screen. Pump 1 is the default

address for the first pump. If there is only one pump installed, you

do not need to set the pump address at the pump. Circuit

assignments, flow rate and background filtering (IntelliFlo only)

setup on this dialog apply to "Pump 1." If there are multiple

IntelliFlo pumps, use the Pump 2-8 tabs to setup the pumps.

When using multiple IntelliFlo pumps with IntelliTouch/ScreenLogic

you need to assign an address to each pump. The address can be

set to #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, or #,8.

Type

Select which type of pump is being used; IntelliFlo or IntelliFlo

4x160.

Background Circuit

This circuit is tied to the “Filter Parameters,” which include scheduled

programmed run times, and turnovers. Assign this circuit to the "pool"

circuit to enable pool filtering (see "Background Filtering").

Circuit /Flow

Circuit: Select the circuit to operate the pump.

Flow: Select the flow rate (15-130 GPM) to the assigned circuit.

The flow rate (GPM) only displays when using an IntelliFlo pump.

When using an IntelliFlo 4x160 pump, only "RPM" is displayed. The

flow rate is not displayed. When this circuit is turned on from the

Equipment pump screen, the pump will operate at the assigned

GPM and will immediately override any scheduled filter programs

setup to operate pool filtering (see "Background Filtering").

Background Filtering

Press this button to access the pool filtering options. For pool

filtering options, see page 50.
