Introduction

1.1Overview

The Teledyne Analytical Instruments Model BDS 3960 Oxygen Analyzer is a versatile instrument for detecting oxygen at the parts-per- billion (ppb) level in a variety of gases. This manual covers the Model BDS 3960 General Purpose flush-panel and/or rack-mount units only. These units are for indoor use in a non-hazardous environment.

Pocket PC with Windows CE operating system used as a controller for analyzer functions.

High resolution, accurate readings of oxygen content from low ppb levels through 100 ppm. Large, bright, meter readout.

New BDS Sensing technology, patent pending.

Versatile analysis over a wide range of applications.

Microprocessor based electronics: 8-bit CMOS microprocessor with 32 kB RAM and 8 kB ROM for I/O operations.
