REAR SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
NOTE: This procedure is for
WARNING
The position of the footrest, camber tube, seat height, the tautness of the back upholstery, as well as the user's condition are directly related to the chair's stability. Any change to one (1) or any combination of the five (5) may cause the chair to decrease in stability. Use EXTREME caution when using a new seating position.
Before 2001 (FIGURE 2)
1.Loosen, but do not remove the front set screws.
2.Remove the set screws at the rear of the seat rails.
WARNING
Ensure that both seat rails are aligned in the correct mounting holes for proper and even seat alignment. A fall and possible injury could occur.
3.Move the rear of the seat rails up or down into one of the five (5) adjustment positions.

After 2000 (FIGURE 3)
SEAT
1.Loosen the locknut at the front of the seat.
2.Loosen both spreader bar screws.
3.Loosen both seat angle screws.
4.Adjust the spreader bar to the desired position.
5.Tighten the seat angle screws, spreader bar screws and the locknut at the front of the seat.
