FOOTREST

 

 

REMOVING FOOTPLATE(S)

1.Note the depth and angle of the existing footplates.

2.Remove the button screws and locknuts that secure the footplate and footplate clamp to the footplate system mounting clamp.

3.Slide the existing footplate and footplate clamp off of the footplate system mounting clamp.

4.If necessary, repeat STEPS 1-3 for the opposite footplate.

INSTALLING FOOTPLATE(S)

1.Install the existing fooplate clamp onto the footplate system mounting clamp.

2.Line up the mounting holes in the new/existing footplate noted in REMOVING FOOTPLATE(S) with the mounting holes in the footplate clamp.

3.Install the button screws and locknuts that secure the new/existing footplate and footplate clamp to the footplate system mounting clamp and loosely tighten.

4.Position the footplate angle to the angle noted in REMOVING FOOTPLATE(S) and tighten the button screws and locknuts securely.

5.If necessary, repaet STEPS 1-4 for the opposite footplate.

REMOVING FOOTPLATE SYSTEM MOUNTING CLAMP

1.Note the mounting position of the footplate system mounting clamp.

2.Remove footplates. Refer to REMOVING FOOT-PLATE(S) in this procedure of the manual.

NOTE: If replacing the footplate mounting bracket, it is not necessary to remove the footplates

3.Remove the button screws and locknuts that secure the existing footplate system mounting clamp to the footplate mounting bracket.

4.Remove the existing footplate system mounting clamp from the wheelchair.

REPLACING FOOTPLATE MOUNTING BRACKET

1.Remove the footplate system mounting clamp. Refer to REMOVING FOOTPLATE SYSTEM MOUNTING CLAMP in this procedure of the manual.

2.Note the mounting position of the existing footplate mounting bracket.

3.Remove the button screws and locknuts that secure the existing footplate mounting bracket to the chair.

4.Remove the existing footplate mounting bracket from the chair.

5.Install the new footplate mounting bracket on the chair at the position noted in STEP 2.

6.Reinstall the button screws and locknuts that secure the existing footplate mounting bracket to the chair and tighten securely.
