FOOTREST PROCEDURE 7

REPLACING FOOTPLATE WELDMENT

1.Loosen, but do not remove the button screws and locknuts that secure the footplates to the footplate weldment.

2.Slide the footplates off of the footplate weldment.

3.Loosen, but do not remove the two (2) set screws that secure the footplate weldment to the seat adjustment weldment.

4.Remove the existing footplate weldment from the seat adjustment weldment.

5.Install the new footplate weldment by reversing STEPS 1-4.

6.Adjust the footplates. Refer to ADJUSTING INDIVIDUAL FOOTPLATES in this procedure of the manual.

REPLACING SEAT ADJUSTMENT WELDMENT

1.Remove the two (2) hex bolts that secure the seat adjustment weldment to the chair frame.

2.Loosen, but do not remove the two (2) set screws that secure the half clamps to the chair frame.

3.Remove existing seat adjustment weldment from the chair.

4.Loosen, but do not remove the four (4) set screws that secure the adjustment brackets to the seat adjustment weldment.

5.Loosen, but do not remove the two (2) set screws that secure the footplate weldment to the seat adjustment weldment.

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the footplates from the footplate weldment.

6.Remove the footplate weldment and adjustment brackets from the existing seat adjustment weldment.

7.Install the new seat adjustment weldment by reversing STEPS 1-6.

8.Adjust the footplate height. Refer to ADJUSTING INDIVIDUAL FOOTPLATES in this proce- dure of the manual.
