Chapter 5 Link Operating State View

When the communications environment setup, telephone system linkage, user management, and device management have been completed for the Link and the Link is running normally, each user can access to the Link as needed.

This chapter describes the operation state for Link in normal service.

Viewing Link state in Default mode

Figure 5.1 Link running in default mode

Figure 5.7 shows the normal working of Link running in default mode. While the Link is running in this mode, the user connection state window shows the following information:

yIP address

Indicates the IP address of connected user computer.

yPort No.

Indicates the port No. used for TCP/IP communication with the Link. The port No. of Link corresponds to that set in the communication environment. Default is 6000.
