Trouble shooting
Motor will not run
•Check valve restricted
•Motor overload protection switch has tripped
•Extension cord is wrong length or gauge
•Loose electrical connections
•Possible defective motor or starting capacitor
•Paint spray on internal motor parts.
•Fuse blown, circuit breaker tripped
•Tank pressure exceeds pres- sure switch
•Pressure release valve on pressure switch has not un- loaded head pressure
•Remove, clean or replace

•Check proper gauge wire and cord length. See Extension Cords under pg. 9.
•Contact a Bosch factory service center or a Bosch authorized service center.

1.Check fuse box for blown fuse and replace as necessary. Reset circuit breaker. Do not use a fuse or circuit breaker with higher rating than that specified for your particular branch circuit.
2.Check for proper fuse. Use only a time de- lay fuse.
3.Check for low voltage conditions and/or proper extension cord.
4.Disconnect the other electrical appliances from circuit or operate the compressor on its own branch circuit.
•Motor will start automatically when tank pressure drops below
•Set the On/Off switch to OFF. If the valve does not open, replace switch. Contact a Bosch factory service center or a Bosch authorized service center.
