
SECTION 3: SETUP
Preparation
The list below outlines the basic process of pre- paring your machine for operation. Specific steps are covered later in this section.
The typical preparation process is as follows:
1.Unpack lathe and inventory contents of box/ crate.
2.Clean lathe and its components.
3.Identify an acceptable location for lathe and move it to that location.
4.Assemble loose components and make any necessary adjustments or inspections to ensure lathe is ready for operation.
5.Connect lathe to power source.
6.Test run lathe to ensure it functions properly.
7.Perform spindle

Your machine was carefully packaged for safe transportation. Remove the packaging materials from around your machine and inspect it. If you discover any damage, please call us immediately at (570)
Save the containers and all packing materials for possible inspection by the carrier or its agent. Otherwise, filing a freight claim can be difficult.
When you are completely satisfied with the condi- tion of your shipment, inventory the contents.
