Enter a new password (maximum field length, 8 alphanumeric characters), followed by <cr>. The RPC responds:

Re-Enter New Password:

Re-enter the new password identically to the first entry. The password feature is case sensitive. If you fail to re-enter the new password correctly, the RPC responds with an “Error” message and returns to the main menu. Consequently, must start over by typing CONFIG” from the RPC > prompt to access the configuration menu. If you re- enter the new password correctly, the RPC returns to the main menu again, but you will not get an “Error” message.

Disabling a Password To disable a password, enter <cr> at the “Enter New Password” prompt. Enter <cr> again at the “Re-enter New Password” prompt. Changing the new password to a carriage return disables password protection.

Change Outlet Name Select #2, “Change Outlet Name,” and press <cr>. The RPC sends the following menu:
