DETAILED OPERATION AND CONFIGURATION

The REBOOT n command will reboot or reset equipment attached to corresponding receptacle(s). When the command to REBOOT (n) is sent from the RPC > prompt, the RPC powers “Off” corresponding outlet(s) for approximately 10 seconds, then powers them up in sequence. This command only works on outlets which were “On” prior to the reboot.
Accessing Main Menu Using communications software, dial the
via Modemmodem using the ATDT command. If the modem does not respond in 5 to 7 rings, the RPC’s RDR feature recycles power to Outlet 6 and consequently resets the modem. Dial the modem again using the ATDT command. When a connection has been established, the RPC sends the following header:

If you set a password when you were locally connected to the RPC through the serial port, the following header appears. Note the additional prompt for a password:
