Selecci6n de aguja e hilo

Para la costura general se utilizan agujas del tamale 11 o 14.

Los hilos y agujas detgados deber&n utilizarse para coser tejidos ligeros evitando asf que _stos se p[Jedan echar a perder.. Los tejidos gruesos con una aguja lo suficientemente gruesa come para que pueda penetrar el tejido sin que el hilo de la aguja se deshilache

En el juego de agujas hay una aguja de cada tamaSe 11, 14, 16, 18, y una de tal6n azul del tamaSo 1t Cuando cosa tejidos de punto y sint_ticos, emplee la aguia de tal6n azul para evitar los fallos de puntada. Para ciertes tipos de tejidos deber_n utifizarse agujas especiales. Para que la aguja pueda penetrar de forma efectiva en los tejidos duros tales come tela vaquera y lena deber& emplearse una aguja para tela vaquera con una punta muy afilada Para costuras a _avista deber_ utiEzarse una aguja especial con un ojo grande per e] que pueda pasar un bile grueso resistente_ Las agujas para cuero perforan pequeSos agujeros en el cuero y los expanden

permitiendo asi que el hilo pase a trav_s del agujero.

Inspeccione tas agujas con frecuencia para comprebar que no est_n embotadas o despuntadas Les agujas dafiadas suelen causar enganches y carreras irreparabies en tejidos de punto, sedas finas y de imitaci6n seda..
