Using the Self-Cleaning Cycle

NOTES:

•Clean the oven before it gets heavily soiled. Cleaning a very soiled oven takes longer and results in more smoke than usual.

•Do not block the vent during the Self- Cleaning cycle. Air must move freely for best cleaning results.

•Do not leave any foil in the oven during the Self-Cleaning cycle. Foil could burn or melt and damage the oven surface.

•The oven light will not work during the Self- Cleaning cycle.

•The door can not be unlocked or opened until the cycle is finished.

Before setting the controls

•Make sure clock is set to correct time of day. The clock cannot be set during the Self-Cleaning cycle.

•Make sure the oven door is completely closed.

•Use 21⁄2 hours for light soil.

•Use 31⁄2 to 41⁄2 hours for moderate to heavy soil.
