4APRIETE LA VÁLVULA DE CIERRE

Apriete la válvula de cierre a la tubería de agua fría con una abrazadera de tubo.

7CÓMO CONECTAR LA TUBERÍA

A LA VÁLVULA

Coloque la tuerca de compresión y el casquillo para tubería de cobre en el extremo de la tubería y conéctela con la válvula cierre.

Cerciórese de que la tubería está insertada completamente en la válvula. Apriete la tuerca de compresión con seguridad.

Para tuberías plásticas de un kit de tubería para refrigeradores SmartConnect™ GE, inserte el extremo moldeado de la tubería en una válvula de cierre y apriete la tuerca de compresión hasta que quede apretada a mano, entonces apriétela una vuelta adicional con la llave. Si la aprieta demasiado, causará fugas.

5APRIETE LA ABRAZADERA DE TUBO

Apriete los tornillos de la abrazadera hasta que la arandela de sello comience a ensancharse.

6CÓMO ORIENTAR LA TUBERÍA

Oriente la tubería entre la línea de agua fría y el refrigerador.

Oriente la tubería a través de un agujero taladrado en la pared on en el piso (detrás refrigerador o en la base de una gabinete adyacente) tan cercano a la pared como sea posible.

NOTA: Cerciórese de que existe suficiente tubería adicional para permitir que

el refrigerador se mueva de la pared después de la instalación.

8ENJUAGUE LA TUBERÍA

Abra el suministro principal de agua y enjuague

la tubería hasta que el agua esté totalmente limpia.

Cierre el suministro de agua en la válvula de agua cuando aproximadamente un cuarto (1 litro) haya salido a través de la tubería durante el enjuague.
