Option Descriptions
-P OptionUse the-P option to obtain a count of big buffer reads, in addition to the
standard profile counts. (Refer topage 2-55 for more details about big
buffers.)
The -P option displays the same information as the-p option, with the
additionof the BIGreads field, which appears as the first field in the output.
-r OptionUse the-r option to cause the accompanying tbstat option(s) to execute
repeatedly after waiting the specifiedseconds between each execution. The
default value ofseconds is 5. To end execution, press the DEL key orCTRL-C.
-R optionUse the-R option to display detailed information about the LRU buffer
queues.
For each queue, the display lists the number of buffers in the queue and the
number and percentage of buffers that have been modified. The following
example shows the output format:
LRU 0: 10 (100.0%) modified of 10 total.
LRU 1: 1 (12.5%) modified of 8 total.
dltouts incrementseach time the distributed deadlock time-out value
is exceeded while a user process is waiting for a lock.
lchwaits increments when a process waits to gain access to a shared-
memory resource.
ckpwaits is the number of checkpoint waits.
compress increments each time a data page is compressed. (Refer to
page 2-133 for more details about how OnLine implements
page compression.)
BIGreads is the number of big buffer reads that have occurred.
