This chapter describes ho w to install the ONline Sy stem Concentrator, how
to install ONline modules, and how to install the optional backup power
supply into your ONline unit.
Warning: Do not turn the concentrato r's power supply switch on until
you are instructed to do so in the following procedures.
The information and procedure s contained in this chapter
are to be used only by servi ce personnel to install and
maintain the ONline 17-Slot S ys tem Concentrator.
Contents of the Shipping Box
The ONline System Concentra tor i s a chassis that enables instal la tion of
media modules for network connection. The unit is shipped complete with
the following parts:
