mus nicht wie gewünscht ausgelöst, die Empfindlichkeit erhöhen (Position 3 oder 4), bis eine sichere Verdunkelung gewährleistet ist. Bei einer höhe- ren Detektoreinstellung kann es vorkommen, dass die Verdunkelung auch nach Abschließen des Schweißvorgangs aufgrund einer anderen Licht- quelle aufrecht erhalten bleibt.

In diesem Fall auf eine niedrige Stufe schalten, so dass sowohl die Ver- dunkelung als auch die Aufhebung derselben zufriedenstellend funktio- niert. Spricht der Schweißfilter in Position 2 gut an, wird die Verdunkelung jedoch auch von einer anderen Lichtquelle in der Nähe ausgelöst, die Posi- tion 1 wählen.

„Low battery“- Anzeige

Die Batterien müssen ausgetauscht werden, wenn die Batterieanzeige blinkt, oder wenn die LED-Anzeigen des Automatikschweißfilters auf Tastendruck nicht mehr aufleuchten.

Achtung!

Der Automatikschweißfilter kann möglicherweise nicht verdunkeln, wenn die Fotosensoren blockiert sind oder der Lichtbogen komplett verdeckt ist.

Achtung!

Warnleuchten (z. B. Stroboskoplampen) können dazu führen, dass der Automatikschweißfilter abdunkelt, sobald die Warnleuchte einschaltet.

Dieser unerwünschte Einfluß kann auch über größere Entfernungen ein- treten bzw. selbst über reflektierte Blinklampensignale ausgelöst werden. Schweißbereiche sollten gegen diese Einflüsse abgeschirmt werden.

Achtung!

Sollte der Speedglas SL Automatikschweißfilter beim Zünden des Lichtbo- gens nicht verdunkeln, unterbrechen Sie Ihre Arbeit sofort und überprüfen Sie das Produkt wie in dieser Anleitung beschrieben.

Ist die Fehlerursache nicht erkennbar und besteht die Fehlfunktion weiter- hin, so benutzen Sie das fehlerhafte Produkt nicht weiter und nehmen Sie Kontakt auf mit Ihrem Vorgesetzten, dem zuständigen Fachhandelspartner, der das Produkt geliefert hat oder mit 3M als Hersteller direkt.

Pflege und Wartung

Austausch der äußeren Vorsatzscheibe.

Entfernen Sie die gebrauchte Vorsatzscheibe und setzen Sie die neue Vor- satzscheibe ein, wie in Abbildung C:1 – C:2 beschrieben.
