Tæthedsgrad

Der kan indstilles til fem forskellige mørke tæthedsgrader 8, 9, 10, 11 og

12.Hvilken tæthedsgrad, der er indstillet ses ved at trykke på knappen Shade. For at vælge en ny tæthedsgrad trykkes på knappen Shade, og herefter, mens lysdioden blinker, trykkes igen på Shade-knappen, indtil lys- dioden blinker ved den ønskede tæthedsgrad.

Følsomhed

Følsomheden af fotocellerne, der reagerer på svejselyset , kan tilpasses forskellige svejseprocesser og arbejdsforhold. Tryk kort på knappen Sen- sitivity for at se, hvilken følsomhed, der er indstillet. Der kan vælges en anden indstilling ved at trykke på knappen igen og, mens lysdioden blinker, trykke flere gange indtil lysdioden blinker ved den ønskede stilling

Område 1 Den mindst følsomme indstilling. Benyttes ved forstyrren-

de lys fra andre, der svejser ved siden af.

Område 2 Normal indstilling. Bruges ved de fleste typer svejsning, indendørs som udendørs.

Område 3 Område til svejsning ved lave strømstyrker (Amp) og/eller, hvor der er en jævnt lysende lysbue (f.eks. TIG-svejsning ved lave svejsestrømme)

Område 4 Den højeste følsomhed af detektorerne. Bruges ved svejs- ninger med meget lave strømme, ved TIG-svejsning med inverterbaseret strømkilde, eller ved f.eks. rørsvejsninger, hvor lysbuen er delvist skjult for udsynet.

Sådan findes den rigtige indstilling af detektorernes følsomhed

Normalt indstilles inden svejsningen påbegyndes på område 2. Dette er den normale indstilling, der passer til de fleste svejseopgaver. Reagerer svej- sekassetten ikke I denne indstilling, når man begynder at svejse, indstilles på område 3 eller 4, hvorefter skift fra lys til mørk indstilling gerne skulle ske. Har man valgt for høj følsomhed, kan svejsekassetten forblive i mørk tilstand efter svejsningens ophør på grund af andet forstyrrende lys. Er det tilfældet, så juster følsomheden ned, indtil kassetten skifter mellem lys og mørk som ønsket.
