Algunas fuentes de luz (por ejemplo, un estroboscopio) pueden provocar que el filtro de soldadura se oscurezca aúnque no se esté soldando. Esta interferencia puede ocurrir desde largas distancias y/o luz reflejada. Se recomienda proteger las zonas de soldadura de estas interferencias.

¡Advertencia!

Si el filtro no se oscurece con el arco de soldadura, deje inmediatamente de soldar e inspeccione el filtro como se describe en estas instrucciones. Con- tinuar el trabajo de soldadura con un filtro que falla puede causar pérdida temporal de la visión. Si no se puede identificar y corregir el problema, no utilice el filtro, contacte con su supervisor, con su distribuidor o con 3M.

MANTENIMIENTO

Sustitución del cubre-filtro exterior.

Retire el protector usado y coloque el nuevo protector en la pantalla como indica la Fig C:1 – C:2.

¡Nota!

Asegúrese de que el protector está correctamente insertado en las cuatro esquinas. Ver Fig C:3.

Sustitución del cubre-filtro interior.

Se quita el cubre-filtro interior siguiendo la ilustración en Fig D:1. El cubre- filtro interior nuevo debe colocarse después de quitar la película protecto- ra. Colocar uno de los lados según Fig D:2. Doblar el centro y colocar las otras dos esquinas. Asegúrese de que el protector está correctamente montado, tal y como se muestra en la Fig D:3.

Sustitución del filtro.

El filtro se quita y se coloca según las ilustraciones que aparecen en las Fig C:1 en E:1.

Sustitución del arnés.

El arnés se cambia según las instrucciones descritas en la Fig F:1 – F:2.

Sustitución de las pilas.

Debe quitarse el filtro de soldadura antes para que puedan reemplazarse las pilas. Sacar el porta-pilas (puede usarse un destornillador pequeño si fuese necesario). Quitar las dos pilas y desecharlas según la normativa local. Colocar las pilas nuevas en los soportes según Fig G:1. Alojar los soportes con pilas nuevas en el ocular.
