Snelheid donker/licht instelling

Zet, om de juiste stand voor de detector te vinden, deze vóór het lassen in stand 2. Dit is de normale stand die in de meeste situaties goed werkt. Ver- hoog de gevoeligheid naar stand 3 of 4 als het lasfilter bij het lassen onvol- doende donkerkleurt, totdat er een duidelijke overgang naar de donkere stand plaatsvindt. Als u een te hoge gevoeligheid kiest kan het zijn dat het lasfilter na het voltooien van het lassen vanwege ander licht in de donkere stand blijft. Als dit het geval is ga dan geleidelijk terug naar een minder gevoelige detector totdat u een stand heeft gevonden waar het lasfilter zowel donker als licht kleur, al naargelang u wilt.

Batterij-indicator

De batterijen moeten vervangen worden als de batterij-indicator gaat knip- peren of de LED’s voor de kleurinstelling of lasdetector niet knipperen als de knoppen worden ingedrukt.

N.B.!

Het lasfilter kan niet donkerkleuren als de sensoren zijn afgedekt of de las- boog is onttrokken aan het zicht.

N.B.!

Knipperende lichtbronnen, bijvoorbeeld knipperende veiligheidslichten, kunnen het lasfilter laten flikkeren zonder dat er gelast wordt. Deze storing kan ontstaan op afstand en/of van reflecterend licht. Plaatsen waar gelast wordt moeten afgescheiden worden voor deze storingen.

Let op!

Stop het lassen onmiddellijk als het Speedglas SL lasfilter niet donkerkleurt bij de ontsteking van de lasboog en controleer het lasfilter zoals beschre- ven is in deze gebruiksaanwijzing. Het blijven gebruiken van een lasfilter dat hapert bij het donkerkleuren, kan tijdelijke oogschade veroorzaken. Gebruik het lasfilter niet meer als de oorzaak van het probleem niet kan worden achterhaald en gecorrigeerd. Neem contact op met uw leidingge- vende, uw leverancier of 3M voor advies.
