Lorsqu’on choisit une sensibilité trop élevée, il peut arriver que le filtre reste en position d’assombrissement après la fin du soudage sous l’effet de la lumière ambiante. Lorsque c’est le cas, diminuez la sensibilité des détec- teurs jusqu’à ce que vous ayez trouvé une position où le filtre de soudage, à la fois, s’assombrisse et s’éclaircisse de la manière souhaitée.

Indicateur de faible pile

Les piles doivent être remplacées lorsque l’indicateur de faible batterie cli- gnote ou lorsque les LED de teinte et de sensibilité ne clignotent plus lors- qu’on appuie sur les boutons.

Remarque !

Le filtre de soudage peut ne pas s’obscurcir si les capteurs sont cachés ou si l’arc de soudage est totalement masqué.

Remarque !

Les sources lumineuses en flash (par ex. Flashs de sécurité) peuvent déclencher la cassette et la faire clignoter alors qu’aucune opération de soudage n’a lieu. Cette interférence peut se produire à grande distance ou par réverbération. La zone de soudage doit être protégée de telles inter- férences.

Attention !

Si le masque de soudage Speedglas SL ne s’obscurcit pas lors de l’amor- ce d’un arc électrique, cessez immédiatement de souder et inspectez le fil- tre de soudage comme indiqué ci-dessus. L’utilisation prolongée d’un filtre de soudage qui ne s’obscurcit pas peut entraîner une perte temporaire de la vue. Si le problème ne peut être identifié et corrigé, ne pas utiliser le filtre de soudage, contactez votre supérieur, distributeur ou 3M pour assistance.

Remplacement de la protection externe.

Enlever la protection usagée et placer la nouvelle protection externe sur le filtre de soudage comme indiqué dans l’illustration C:1 – C:2.

Remarque !

Assurez-vous que la protection externe est correctement mise en place sur chacun des plots. Voir schémas. Figures C:3
