Turn Automatic Averaging On/Off

[:SENSe]:AVERage:TYPE:AUTO OFF|ON|0|1

[:SENSe]:AVERage:TYPE:AUTO?

Sets the averaging to be automatically set to the appropriate type for the current

measurement setup. Or allows you to manually choose the type of averaging with

[:SENSe]:AVERage:TYPE.

When AUTO is On:

If the Y Axis Scale is not L inear or Log, then average type i s Video (Y Axis

Scale) Averaging.

If the Y Axis Scale is Linear or Log, then average type is Pow er Averaging.

If the Detector is Peak, Sample, or Negative Peak (not Average), then aver age

type is Video Average.
