Step 4. Install nut and tighten snug against washer. Strike each end of shaft with hammer to seat all parts. Check rolling torque of output shaft. Figure
Rolling torque should be 10 to 15 inch pounds. Tighten slotted adjusting nut to obtain this setting. Note: Never loosen adjusting nut to obtain rolling torque setting. If torque setting is to high and nut must be loosened and all of step 4 must be repeated. Bend tab on special washer into slot in adjusting nut.
