Removing the Video-card Fan

Prerequisites

1Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 14.

2Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 16.

Procedure

1Loosen the captive-screws that secure the video-card fan to the computer base.

2Lift the fan away from the computer base

3Disconnect the fan cable from the system-board connector.
