Removing the Video Card

Prerequisites

1Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 14.

2Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 16.

3Remove the video-card fan. See "Removing the Video-card Fan" on page 36.

4Remove the video-card heat sink. See "Removing the Video-Card Heat Sink" on page 41.

Procedure

1Remove the screws that secure the video card to the system board.

2Slide and remove the video card from the video-card connector.
