Removing the Processor Fan

Prerequisites
1Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 14.
2Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 16.
Procedure
1Loosen the captive screws that secure the processor fan to the computer base.
2Gently lift the fan and disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
3Lift the fan away from the computer base.
