Following are descriptions of all Fiberlink NNI Transmitter components:
1) Sun Shield
The Sun Shield is designed to provide thermal protection from sun-generated
overheating, within the recommended operating temperature range: -20° C to
55° C (-4° F to 131° F).
2) Fiber Connection LED
The Fiber Connection LED indicates the status of the data coming over the fiber
optic cable from the Fiberlink NNI Receiver. Green indicates that a signal is
present. Off indicates that a signal is not present. There are no other LED states.

Important The Fiberlink NNI Transmitter can be used in direct sunlight
when mounted vertically, as shown on page214. Do not
prevent air from flowing around the unit. To avoid
overheating, do not leave the Transmitter in direct sunlight for
prolonged periods of time.
