(SID 9, FMI 2, 4, 5, 12)

Driver Display Unit

Overview

This fault code indicates an electrical failure of the Driver Display Unit.

Detection

Starting at key on and throughout the operation, the Central Processing Unit constantly monitors the communication with the Driver Display Unit. If a communication fault occurs for more than ﬁve seconds, fault code 13 is set.

Fallback

This fault causes a failure of the Bendix™ VORAD® system.
