En el modo Warm (Calentar), los elementos superior e inferior mantienen una temperatura baja en la cavidad del horno para mantener los alimentos a la temperatura ideal para servirlos.

Use el modo Warm (Calentar) para mantener los alimentos cocinados calientes hasta el momento de servirlos.

Las temperaturas del modo Warm (Calentar) son de 140 ºF a 220 ºF.

La temperatura predeterminada en el modo Warm (Calentar) es 170 ºF.

Los alimentos que deben mantenerse húmedos deben cubrirse con una tapa o papel de aluminio.

No use el modo Warm (Calentar) para calentar alimentos fríos.

Asegúrese de mantener la temperatura adecuada de los alimentos. El Departamento de Agricultura de los EE. UU. (United States Department of Agriculture, USDA) recomienda mantener los alimentos calientes a una temperatura de 140 °F o más.

NO caliente alimentos durante más de una hora.

En el modo Pie (Pay) el calor del elemento superior e inferior circula en todo el horno mediante el ventilador de convección.

Use Pie (Pay) para cocinar pays frescos o congelados.

Consejos: • Los tiempos de horneado pueden disminuir levemente al utilizar este modo. Controle los pays antes.

Para prevenir que se dore demasiado, es posible que se deba cubrir el borde del pay con papel de aluminio o un aro para pay.

Use harina multiuso blanqueada o harina para pastelitos para la corteza. La harina para pasteles o pan puede producir cortezas débiles o firmes.

Para obtener una corteza suave, reemplace una parte del líquido por una parte pequeña de vinagre.

Para obtener una corteza hojaldrada, asegúrese de que los ingredientes estén fríos durante la preparación.

Para evitar que la masa se encoja durante la cocción, coloque la corteza en un molde para pay, envuélvalo con plástico y déjelo reposar en el refrigerador durante 30 minutos antes de agregar el relleno. Nota: La masa puede guardarse de este modo hasta dos días.

El ventilador de convección se enciende y apaga cíclicamente en el modo Pie (Pay).
