| Configuration of the DSP matrix mixer / system (inputs, outputs, settings and controls) is |
| done by the PLENA matrix graphical user interface (GUI) PC software. Use the Amplifier PC |
| software GUI, when configuring the multi channel DSP amplifier. It is important to always use |
| the most up‑to‑date version of the PC GUI. Please check www.boschsecurity.com for the |
| latest software updates. |
5.4.1 | PC requirements |
| The Plena Matrix GUI configuration application software packages can be installed on any PC |
| running the Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 (non RT) |
| operating system. Make sure that the PC is working correctly and free of viruses before |
| installing the GUI configuration software. Using embedded operating systems is not |
| recommended. |

| Be sure that you use a user account with full Windows administration rights before starting |
| software installation. |

5.4.2 | PC GUI application software installation |
| The following instructions explain how to install the Bosch Plena Matrix GUI application |
| software onto your Windows PC. |
1. Download the latest version of PC GUI software from the Bosch website: www.boschsecurity.com.
– Follow the on‑screen instructions from the setup wizard.
– The installation process is started.
2. Click the finish button.

The installation may prompt you to install Microsoft .NET framework 4.0, this is required to be able to run this GUI. Please follow the link provided onscreen to download and install before proceeding.
