Click Scan.
If the DCP is connected via:
Select Scan from the File drop-down menu or select the Scan button.
Open the software application (ScanSoft® PaperPort®) to scan a document.

3 Select Brother DCP-8025D(if using a parallel interface), Brother DCP-8025D USB or Brother DCP-8025D LAN from the Scanner drop-down list box.

Parallel—use ‘Brother DCP-8025D’

USB—use ‘Brother DCP-8025D USB’

LAN—use ‘Brother DCP-8025D LAN’
