11 - 4 MAKING COPIES
Quality
You can select the copy quality. The default setting is Normal.

Press (Copy) to illum inate it in green.

Load your original. ( See Load originals on page 2-1 .)

Use the dial pad to enter the nu mber of copies you want
(up to 99).

Press Quality.

Press or to choose t he copy quality (Fast, Normal
or Best). Press Menu/Set.

Press Black Start or Color Start.

Press other Temporary Copy keys for more settings.

Normal Recommended mode for ordi nary
printouts. Good copy qualit y with
adequate copy speed.
Fast Fast copy speed and lowest ink
consumption. Use FAST to sav e
time (original to be proof-read,
large originals or many copi es).
Best Use this mode to copy precise
images such as photographs.
BEST uses the highest resol ution
and slowest speed.
