Easy Receive (MFC-3320CN only)When you use this feature, yo u don’t have to press Black Start,
Color Start, or the Fax Receive C ode 51 when you answer a fax
call. Selecting On allows the machine to receive fax calls
automatically, even if you lift the handset of an extension or externa l
phone. When you see Receiving on the LCD or when you hear
‘chirps’ through the handse t of an extension phone connected t o
another telephone wall jack , just replace the handset and your
machine will do the rest. Selecting Off means you’ll have to activate
the machine yourself by lif ting the handset of an external or
extension phone, and then pr ess Black Start or Color Start on the
machine—OR—by pressing 51 if you are not at your machine.

If this feature is set to On, but your machine doesn’t connect a
fax call when you lift a exte nsion or external phone handset ,
press the Fax Receive Code 51.
If you send faxes from a computer on the sa me phone line and
the machine intercepts them, set Easy Receive to Off.
