Packing and shipping the ma chine
Whenever you transport the machine, use the packing materials that
came with your machine. If you do not pack the machine properly,
you could void your warranty.
Caution
Do NOT unplug the machine afte r a print job until you hear the final
click.

First, remove all the i nk cartridges and atta ch the white shipping
cover. (See Replacing the ink cartridges on page 14-19.) After
attaching the white shipping cover, press all the ink cartridge
covers down.
Caution
If you are not able to find the shipping cover, do NOT remove the ink
cartridges before shipping. It is essential that the machine be
shipped with either the shipping cover or the ink cartridges in
position. Shipping without them will cause damage to your machine
and may void your warranty.

Unplug the machine from th e telephone wall jack and remove
the telephone line cord from machine.

Unplug the machine from the AC outlet.

Unplug the USB cable from the m achine, if it is connected.
