Setting the Ring Delay
The Ring Delay sets the num ber of times the machine ri ngs before it
answers in Fax Only, Fax/Tel and MC:Msg Ctr (FAX-1920C
only) modes. If you have exten sion phones on the same line as the
machine or subscribe to the telephone company’s Distinctive Ring
service, keep the Ring Delay setting of 4.

If it is not illuminated in green, press (Fax).

Press Menu/Set, 2, 1, 1.

Delay.
Press Menu/Set.

Press or to select how many times the line rings
before the machine answers (00, 01, 02, 03 or 04).
Press Menu/Set.
(If you select 00, the line w on’t ring at all.)

Press Stop/Exit.
