Real Time Transmission

When you are sending a fax, the MFC will scan the original documents into the memory before sending. Then, as soon as the phone line is free, the MFC will start dialing and sending.

If the memory becomes full, the MFC will send the original document in real time (even if Real Time TX is set to Off).

Sometimes, you may want to send an important original document immediately, without waiting for memory transmission. You can set Real Time TX to On for all original documents or for the next fax only.

1 If it is not illuminated in green, press (Fax). Load the original document.

Press Menu, 2, 2, 5.

To change the default setting, press

5.Real Time TX

 

or

to select On (or Off).

 

 

Press Set.

 

 

Go to Step 5.

For the next fax transmission only, press or to select Next Fax Only.

Press Set.

to select Next Fax:On (or Next

Fax:Off).

Press Set.

5 Press 1 if you want to choose more settings and the LCD will return to the Setup Send menu.

Press 2 if you have finished choosing settings. Enter the fax number.

Press Start to send the fax.
