Stitch Width Dial

Depending on the stitch selected, you may need to adjust the stitch width.

The numbers marked on the dial represent the stitch width.

THE HIGHER THE NUMBER, THE WIDER THE STITCH.

CAUTION

Do not adjust the stitch width while the needle is in the fabric. Otherwise, the needle or fabric may be damaged.

NOTE:

When you choose the Straight Stitch or the Triple Stretch Stitch you can change the needle position from left to right.

2Turn the stitch width dial toward the “7” setting for left needle position.

3Turn the stitch width dial toward the “0” setting for right needle position.

Reverse Sewing Lever

Reverse sewing is used for back tacking and reinforcing seams.

To sew in reverse, push the Reverse Sewing Lever down as far as possible and hold in that position while pressing lightly on the foot pedal. To sew forward, release the Reverse Sewing Lever. The machine will then sew forward.

PRECAUCIÓN

No ajuste el ancho de puntada mientras la aguja esté metida en el tejido. De lo contrario, la aguja o el tejido podrían dañarse.

NOTA:

Cuando elige la puntada recta o la triple puntada elástica, es posible cambiar la posición de la aguja de izquierda a derecha.

2Para la aguja izquierda, ajuste el selector de ancho

de puntadas en “7”.

3Para la aguja derecha, ajuste el selector de ancho de puntadas en “0”.

Pulsador de retroceso

La costura hacia atrás se usa para remates y para reforzar las costuras.

Para coser hacia atrás, apriete a fondo la palanca de retroceso y manténgala en esa posición mientras presiona ligeramente el pedal. Para volver a coser hacia adelante, suelte el pulsador. La máquina coserá hacia delante.

ATTENTION

Ne pas régler la largeur de point pendant que l’aiguille est dans le tissu. Sinon, l’aiguille ou le tisseur risque d’être abîmé.

REMARQUE:

Lorsque le point droit ou le triple point élastique sont sélectionnés, la position de l'aiguille peut être changée de la gauche au à droite.

2Régler le sélecteur de largeur de point sur “7” pour l’aiguille à gauche.

3Régler le sélecteur de largeur de point sur “0” pour l’aiguille à droite.

Levier de couture en marche arrière

Utiliser la couture en marche arrière pour arrêter ou renforcer une couture.

Pour coudre en arrière, pousser le levier de couture en marche arrière au maximum vers le bas, et le maintenir dans cette position tout en appuyant légèrement sur la pédale. Pour coudre à nouveau vers l’avant, relâcher le levier. La machine coudra alors en marche avant.
