Feed Dog Position Switch

Use the Feed Dog Position Switch to raise or lower the feed dogs	MACHINESEWINGYOURKNOWING	COSERDEMÁQUINASUCONOZCA	COUDREAMACHINESACONNAITRE

according to the job that is being done. When monogramming,
embroidering, darning or sewing on buttons, the feed dogs should
be lowered. (The garment will not be fed.)
NOTE:
When raising or lowering the feed dogs, move the Feed Dog
Position Switch as far as possible to the appropriate side. Since the
feed dogs can not be raised using the Feed Dog Position Switch
immediately after they are lowered, move the switch to the Up
Position, turn the handwheel toward you once and the feed dogs will
move into the raised position.

Converting to Free-arm Style

Free-arm sewing is convenient for sewing tubular and hard-to- reach areas on a garment. To change your machine to the free-arm style, simply slide out the flat bed attachment to the left.

Palanca de los alimentadores

La costura con brazo libre es práctica para coser zonas tubulares y difíciles de acceso en los tejidos. Para transformar su máquina a la modalidad de brazo libre, deslice simplemente la plataforma hacia la izquierda.

Levier des griffes d’entraînement

Utiliser le levier des griffes d’entraînement pour relever ou abaisser les griffes en fonction du travail à effectuer. Lors de la création de monogram- mes, de broderies, lors de reprisages ou de la couture de boutons, les griffes d’entraînement doivent être abaissées (l’ouvrage ne sera pas entraîné).

REMARQUE:

Pour relever ou abaisser les griffes d’entraînement, déplacer le levier aussi loin que possible dans le sens souhaité. Etant donné que les griffes d’entraînement ne peuvent pas être relevées à l’aide du curseur de réglage approprié lorsqu’elles viennent d’être abaissées, il convient de mettre ce dernier sur la position haute, de tourner une fois le volant vers soi et les griffes d’entraînement se remettront dans la position relevée.
