Converting to Free-Arm Style

Free-arm sewing is convenient for sewing tubular and hard-to-reach areas on garments. To change your machine to the free-arm style, lift up on the extension table and pull it out. (See fig. A.)

1Lift the bottom of the extension table up toward you.

2Pull the extension table out to remove it.

Steadying the Machine

When the sewing machine is placed on an uneven surface, turn the rubber cushion on the front right-hand side of the base plate to adjust its height until the sewing machine is stable. (See fig. B.)

Kun ompelukone on sijoitettu epätasaiselle alustalle, säädä pohjalevyn etuosan oikeassa reunassa olevan kumityynyn korkeutta kääntämällä tyynyä, kunnes ompelukone seisoo tukevasti paikoillaan. (Katso kuvaa B.)

La costura con brazo libre es práctica para coser en redondo y en partes del tejido de difícil acceso. Para transformar su máquina en esa modalidad, sólo hace falta levantar el soporte de los accesorios y sacarlo tirando de él. (Ver fig. A.)

1Levante la parte inferior del soporte de accesorios hacia usted.

2Tire hacia afuera para sacarlo.
