The prompt will announce, “Your outgoing message is” and then play your message. The display will flash p and after playing your message you will hear the menu once more.

Secrecy	Press and hold the ✘ button to
	return the handset to standby.

To check or play your outgoing message via the base unit

	You can check and play back
	your current outgoing
	message at any time via your
	Synergy 3500 base unit.
Ans.	Press the ANSWER ON/OFF
on
off	button.
	The prompt will announce
	either:
	• “Answer on, your outgoing
	message is...” and play your
	currently selected outgoing
	message.
	Or
	• “Answer off”. If prompt
Ans.	is “Answer off”, press the
off	ANSWER ON/OFF button
on
	again and the prompt will
	announce the current
	outgoing message.

To check or play your outgoing message via the handset

Pick up the handset.

Menu	Press the  button twice to
	enter the answering machine
	menu.
T
UV	Press the 8 button.

	The prompt will announce,
	“To play outgoing message,
	press 2”.
A
BC	Press the 2 button. Your
2 
	currently selected outgoing
	message will be played.
Secrecy	Press and hold the ✘ button to
	return the handset to standby.

To select your outgoing messages via the base unit

Ans.	Press and hold the ANSWER
on
off	ON/OFF button until you hear,
	“Please select outgoing message”,
	then release the button.
	Either
Skip	To set Answer and Record,
	press and release the  Skip
	button. P/1 will be displayed
	and will flash consecutively.
