kFixing a Measurement of a Figure
By “fixing a measurement” we mean that a constraint is placed on the figure. For example, if we fix (constrain) a point to a circle and move the circle, the point will also move.
The following example shows how to fix the size of an angle of a triangle.
uTo fix the measure of an angle of a triangle
(1)Draw the triangle.
(2)Select side AB and then select side BC.
(3)Input 90 into the measurement box, and then select the check box to the right of it.
• This fixes the measure of angle B at 90 degrees.
A highlighted check box indicates the measurement is fixed (constrained).
kChanging a Label or Adding a Name to an Element
You can change the name of a point, or add a name to each element as explained in the following example.
uClassPad Operation
(1)Select (highlight) a point. Tap the down arrow to the right of icon palette on measurement box and then u.
•This displays the current name of point A in the measurement box. The displayed name is highlighted so it can be edited.
