3.The tips of the LC Duplex cable are packaged with a protective covering. (The protector might be caps over the white tips of the LC cable or a clipped-on shell). Remove the cover before use. See Figure 4-5.

4.Insert one end of the LC Duplex cable into the SFP at FC Port 1 or FC Port 2. See Figure 4-6.
