Information Required for Configuring a Multi Services Platform

Table 1-3lists the information that you need as you perform the initial configuration of a Multi Services Platform. You may find it convenient to determine and record this information before you begin the configuration procedure. You can obtain this information from your network administrator.

When you configure an MSP, make a note which VSM components will run on it. This information will help you assign the appropriate IP address or host name to the MSP.
